Livin' Spirits

Die Livin´ Spirits bringen viele Jahre Musikerfahrung zusammen und nennen ihre Musik „melodischen Beat-Rock-Pop-Folk-Jazz-Blues“. Nachdenkliche Texte sollen die Zuhörer inspirieren, einen tieferen Sinn im Leben und – wie der Bandname ahnen lässt – die eigene Spiritualität zu erkennen.

The seven musicians from the Nienburg region have been playing together since summer 2023:

HW Quast (Voc & Git).

Singer and songwriter HW Quast comes from Hanover's independent hardcore scene of the 80s and 90s and met musicians like Johnny Cash, Frank Zappa, and the Scorpions early on. In later years, he shared the stage with bands such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Grohl, Bad Religion, Primus, NOFX, the Bad Brains, Henry Rollins, and many more. Drummer JM Hensch is very well-known in the North German music scene through numerous bands and music projects.

After a wonderful concert in trio form at Hanaas Lounge last October, we are delighted to welcome the entire band to our venue on Saturday, August 3rd.

Admission is free, but we kindly request a reasonable donation for the musicians.
