At Hanaa's Lounge, your music, art, or literature takes center stage. People come here to listen.
We're a small club with 20 seats. We can accommodate a total of 30 people. This allows for close interaction with the audience.
Technology
- Our mixer is a Behringer X air 18. It has 16 mic/line input channels, a stereo aux via USB, and six output buses in addition to the main output. Four effects processors allow us to replicate common insert and send effects.
- Two Ramsa speakers hang from the ceiling to ensure good sound from the stage to the last seat.
- Three Alto monitor boxes and two Pronomic monitor boxes can be controlled separately.
- You can either bring your own mixer and feed the mix into ours. Then we'll just adjust the overall volume.
- Or you can let us mix it after we've done a soundcheck together. If you wish, we can also record your concert into a Cubase project with up to 16 tracks. In this case, it's important that we have enough time to mic up all the instruments, even those that don't need to be amplified.
- 4 microphone stands are available for you.
- If you're a guitarist who wants to travel light, we have a Hughes & Kettner tube amplifier for you.
- We have a small lighting system that we can set up to match your music.
- The stage is 3 meters wide and 4 meters deep and not raised.
Directions and parking
We are located right in the historic town center of Schwalenberg. You can load and unload directly in front of the house. Parking is available about 140m away in a municipal parking lot.

Fee …
… is collected from the audience as a hat donation. Anyone who comes to our concerts knows that the hat donation must not jingle (the hat is a champagne bucket, in which jingling is very noticeable).
All donations from the hat go directly to the artist. We use the proceeds from drinks to pay the GEMA fee.

As soon as an entrance fee is charged or advertised, this requires prior coordination and a clear assignment of the organizer role.
Option 1 – Ticketed concert, organized by Hanaa's Lounge
- The organizer collects the admission fee. The admission revenue is subject to the reduced VAT rate (currently 7%).

- If the artist issues an invoice with VAT shown separately, payment will be made gross less the GEMA fee.
- Billing is based on a concert contract.
Option 2 – Ticketed concert, organized by the artist
- Ein Ticketverkauf durch den Künstler oder durch Dritte ist nur nach vorheriger schriftlicher Vereinbarung zulässig.
- The artist is organizing the event in his own name and at his own expense.
- The ticket revenue belongs to the artist.
- Der Künstler übernimmt in diesem Fall die Anmeldung und Abrechnung bei der GEMA.
- Hanaa's Lounge provides the premises and handles the serving of drinks.
